Register today for the Asterisk one-day
seminar in Vasa, October 4th
Asterisk™, the Open Source PBX, is the most
growing Open Source project today - being in the middle of a revolution,
or in fact, several of them. Between Open Source and proprietary software,
between the classical telephony network and the Internet, between datacom
and telecom business models. Asterisk implementations range from home
use to carrier class installa tions.
It's time that you get to Meet Asterisk!
Asterisk makes a complete business- or carrier-class PBX out of an ordinary
Linux computer, integrating with the telephony network as well as the
new world of voice over IP and Internet.
Fast-Track Overview of Asterisk
The “Meet Asterisk” one-day introductory
class will give you an overview over how to use Asterisk in your network
and an introduction to the Asterisk architecture, configuration and installation.
We will give examples of current installations and the hardware needed
to run Asterisk in your network. It's a class filled with ideas, facts
and inspiration on how to get the most out of using Asterisk in your network.
Speaker:
Olle E. Johansson
Olle is an active Asterisk developer and a member of the Asterisk community.
He has been working with TCP/IP technologies since the early 90's and
with IP telephony and Asterisk for many years. Olle has been teaching
Asterisk for many students and is often speaking at conferences.
Meet local Asterisk companies!
On the events, we have local companies attending with demo equipment,
so you can test the latest VoIP gear yourself in a live environment! Voop,
the European Asterisk VoIP service provider, will also demonstrate Asterisk
services on each event.
